As a new start of having this 'online sketchbook', here are some old sketches. Mostly made for myself, but that doesnt really matter now, does it. After a day working at my small atelier my fingers kept on itching: I could't sleep, I needed to draw. I went out on my own to find some interesting subjects (no one to talk to, people became shades and contours again), what I found was a concert of Bart Maris @ Hot Club de Gand (& Club Reserva). The city was sleeping already (gorgeous Ghent), the concert was good. A perfect closing of a day filled with paint. Hereby some sketches (sorry for my flenglish). |
